Citae Terms & Conditions

General Terms

Through placing an order with Citae you are agreeing to these Terms and conditions as set out on this page. If you donot agree with any of these Terms or Conditions then you should not use the Citae website or place an order with us. The Terms and Conditions that you agree to are those in place at the time of your order. If you have placed multiple orders then each order is subject to those terms and conditions in place at the time of that order.
Citae Terms and conditions are Maintained here: http://www.citae.co.uk/terms-and-conditions

Contract Terms

When an order is successfully placed and accepted by Citae then a contract for service is created. Citae reserve the right to refuse an order. We will always attempt to deliver against the terms of a contract but accept no liability should we not be able to and will give fair warning where we are unable to deliver the contract as agreed.

All Citae pricing is displayed on the Citae website (www.citae.co.uk) and may change without prior notice or warning. Citae accept no liability for price changes. All orders will be priced at the time of order.
It is not permissible to copy any content from www.citae.co.uk and all site content is the property of Citae. We make every effort to ensure accuracy of our website content but accept no liability for any inaccuracy that may exist.

Orders

When placing an order we require that you pass to us personal information. This can include: contact information, employment details, salary data and details of current and historical employment. Typically we request this in the form of a CV and we recommend that you use file encryption when you send us this data.

If you do not supply us with these details we cannot guarantee that we are able to complete the order.

Payment for orders is taken via PayPal though the citae.co.uk website. We take payment prior to agreeing to the contract and your payment is taken as confirmation of your order.

It is important when making payment that you ensure that the contact details are correct in PayPal otherwise we cannot guarantee to contact you.

Should you place an order in error you should contact us at info@citae.co.uk or use the contact form: https://www.citae.co.uk/contact

We recommend that you check your spam or junk e-mail folders for communications from us.

We ask that you are as clear as possible with your requirements when we first contact you and that you outline your requirements for us. Where we feel that the scope of your requirements exceeds that of the order we will advise you so and ask you to make an additional purchase should you wish to procure those services.

Refunds

We will endeavour to issue refunds for misplaced orders but these refunds will only be issued through PayPal and will not include any handling fees that are encountered during either original payment or refund.

Turnaround Times

We publish a turnaround time for all orders of 48 hours but we will not be held to this and accept no liability for not delivering the contract within this time. Where we do not expect to be able to meet the published turnaround time we will contact you and either agree a different turnaround or issue a refund at your choice.

Contact

When an order has been accepted we will contact you to arrange a video conference to discuss the work with you. We will provide our own video conference facilities but are happy to adapt to your preferences or default to a phone call. We highly recommend that you agree to a video conference to get the best from this service.

Citae writers or staff will not meet customers in person.

Should you not agree a suitable time we will work with you to meet with you at a mutually convenient time but this will void the published turnaround time.

Should you choose not to meet with us or are unable to meet with us then we will continue with provision of the service but we will be unable to deliver the service at the same quality levels as normal so will endeavour to deliver the highest quality that we are able to but will accept no complaints or issue any refunds in this instance.

Encryption

Where we exchange documents with you, we shall encrypt files with a key agreed with you. We recommend that you use the same encryption key for any documents that you send to us.

Delivery of CVs and Covering Letters

We will write your CV or Covering Letter based on our communications with you. To do this to the fullest of our capabilities we will need an existing CV and information about roles that you intend to apply for. Ideally you will send us a link to a job advert or role description.

During the delivery of the CV writing service you will be asked to select two CV styles. These will be used in generation of your CV. A completed CV will be returned by e-mail in both Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF formats.

During the delivery of the covering letter writing service you will be asked to select two letter styles. These will be used in generation of your covering letter. The documents are yours to keep and edit. A covering letter will be returned by e-mail in Microsoft Word format.

All supplied documents will be deleted from Citae storage three days after being shared with you.

Delivery of a LinkedIn Profile

For the writing of a LinkedIn profile we will not edit your LinkedIn profile for you but we will supply you with written content and an explanation of how to update your profile. We will also check the profile once you have enabled it.

Delivery of Interview Technique Training

Where you order interview practice or technique a video conference session of 60 minutes is necessary to complete the service.

Before the session can take place we will need information about the nature of interviews that you wish to engage in. We will attempt to simulate such an interview but we are unable to give technical interviews.

The first half of a training session will be a simulated interview. The second half will be an evaluation of the simulated interview.

An interview technique session will be recorded and a copy of the recording shared with you in a standard format. On some occasions recordings will not be properly captured and we have no liability of the success of recordings or liability for the failure to provide a recording.

All recorded videos will be deleted from Citae storage three days after access has been given to you. Citae will not hold or store copies or originals on your behalf.

Completion

Citae will make the assumption that the order is complete once we have returned the goods that we have created for you. Where you do not agree that an order is completed you must inform us within ten working days from delivering of your files. If you do not contact us within ten working days we will not enter into any discussion over the goods provided.

Once we have provided you with your documents they become your goods and are fully owned by you. Citae have no rights or obligations in relation to those documents.
